LAST MINUTE VENUE CHANGE for public meeting thanks to the CITY OF PERTH

Perth Lord Mayor  BASIL ZEMPILAS has tried to CANCEL the DISRUPT BURRUP HUB public meeting this evening after telling us AT THE LAST MINUTE we cannot use our reservation this evening at the Citiplace Community Centre.

Instead, we will meet from 6.30pm on the lawn outside COUNCIL HOUSE at 27 St George’s Tce, Perth to discuss HOW and WHY to DISRUPT BURRUP HUB.

There will also be Disrupt Burrup Hub campaigners waiting at Citiplace Community Centre to guide people to the new meeting location.

Statement from the Disrupt Burrup Hub campaign:

“We learned late this afternoon that our public meeting reservation has been cancelled by the City of Perth following our safe, successful evacuation of the entire Woodside headquarters in Perth this morning with a harmless “gas leak” hoax.”

“While it is a shame that the City of Perth have chosen to follow the WA government and the WA police by running interference for Woodside, we look forward to welcoming everyone on the green, green grass outside Perth Council House this evening from 6.30 pm to explain how and why we will all Disrupt Burrup Hub in 2023.”
