On Tuesday 1st of August, one nineteen year old Disrupt Burrup Hub campaigner with a spray can faced off against more than a dozen WA counter-terror police who’d just sprung out of the house of the Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill.

You’ve probably heard a bunch of different things about this, so we should be very clear from the outset: there was no intention, no prospect and no possibility that anyone was going to enter Meg O’Neill’s home.

Wondering how did police know what was planned? What were the ABC doing there in advance? Was it a good idea to target someone’s home with this protest? How can we keep organising in the face of so much police interference? What the hell happens now?

These are all good questions and all will be answered at this Q&A session on August 16th.

One thing we do know: last month was the hottest month in human history. The world is on fire. Woodside are fanning the flames. We need to stop them destroying our only home. Disrupt Burrup Hub has had a week of headline media coverage, the kind that gets national political attention and sets the agenda.

Whatever happens, we won’t back down, we’ll double down.We want to bring everyone up to speed so we can get on with the task at hand - to Disrupt Burrup Hub!
